Tennis Works coaches are required to create a fun & safe environment for all players.

Tennis works is committed to ensure every child that participates within our programs are safe. We take child safety seriously and believe Tennis Works is responsible for creating an environment where children have only the joy of tennis in the minds and hearts! 

Tennis Works will embed child safety into our policies, procedures and day to day operations to maximise the safety of children participating in our programs. We follow, understand, acknowledge and accept the Tennis Australia 'safeguarding children guidelines' and will adhere to them in their entirety.

We are committed to a strong child safe culture within our business and will always look for opportunities to strengthen our policies to create the safest possible environment for children.

Extreme Weather Policy

Extreme weather will typically come in the form of Heat, Washouts & Lightning.

Heat - if the temperature exceeds 37 degrees your head coach will notify you as soon as possible, the session has been cancelled

Washout - if courts are flooded and no undercover space is available, your head coaching will notify you as soon as possible, the session has been cancelled.

Lightning - in the event lightning is sighted sessions will cease until it is safe to re-commence.

In the event of extreme weather sessions will be cancelled and make-up lessons will be made available for players to attend. It will be up to the players to make themselves available for the additional sessions offered.

If multiple session are missed due to extreme weather, you will be eligible to receive credits to your account. You will be required to contact your head coach to arrange your credit.

Sun Smart Policy

We encourage all players to adhere sun smart principles at all times and particularly during our warmer months.
- Wear appropriate clothing
- Apply sunscreen 
- Wear a hat
- Use shade at appropriate times
- Wear sunglasses.
