PLC Senior Tennis Policies

Senior School Group Lessons are run on the Senior School Hockey Pitch/Tennis Courts next to the Library from 7:30am - 8:15am.

Players being dropped off by parents, please go to the car park off Parer Street. This car park is located right next to the Hockey Pitch.

In the event of Extreme weather patterns where it is deemed unsafe to play, lessons will be cancelled for that day.

You will receive a text message from Chris  if the session is cancelled. If you do not receive a message, the session will be going ahead.

If a session is cancelled, make-up lesson times will be confired by PLC and then outlined to parents.  Make-Up Lessons for washouts will be held on either Monday or Wednesday Morning 7:30am-8:15am, depending on when we can book the courts through PLC. It will be up to players to be able to make the session.

Extreme weather will be declared in the event of

• Wet weather being deemed by PLC as unsafe
• Lightning
• Temperature being deemed by PLC to be too hot

Players are strongly encouraged to

• Bring (& wear) a hat
• Apply sunscreen
• Bring a water bottle

As the temperatures increase coaches will:

• Increase the frequency of water breaks
• Ensure players utilise shade where possible
• Decrease the intensity of the session allowing players to manage their energy.
• If players are feeling light headed or ill we will ensure they sit in the shade and drink plenty of water.

Unfortunately we only run Senior School Lessons on Friday morning, meaning we CANNOT offer make-up lessons for sessions missed by players.

Credits & Refunds will NOT be available for any sessions missed.

Customers are not entitled to refunds & or credits for sessions missed during the term.

If a session is cancelled due to COVID lockdowns, Tennis Works will offer the below options for the customer

• A full refund for sessions missed
• A credit applied to your account equal to the value of the sessions missed
• Make-up sessions made available for you to opt into if you choose
• A combination of make-up lessons, credits/refunds

To be eligible to participate in 'Term' Tennis Lessons Tennis Works requires payment prior to the commencement of my first session. No pay, no play.
